Your right to cancel

If you are a consumer purchasing from ,,WoodenRusticCraft" online, you generally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason, subject to any applicable legal exceptions.

If your order contains several items delivered separately, the 14-day cancellation period generally begins when you receive the final item.

Returning an item

After telling me that you wish to cancel, you should return the item without undue delay and normally within 14 days.

Items should be returned in a suitable condition, with reasonable care taken while they are in your possession.

If you change your mind or no longer want the item, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning it.

If an item is faulty, damaged before it reaches you, incorrectly supplied or not as described, different statutory rights may apply.

Please contact me before returning an item so that I can provide the appropriate return instructions.

Refunds

Once a valid cancellation has been made and the returned goods have been received, or you have provided appropriate evidence that they have been sent back, I will process your refund in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Where required by law, the refund will include the applicable standard delivery charge originally paid.

Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase.

Refunds will be made within the period required by applicable consumer law.

Faulty or incorrectly supplied items

If an item is faulty, damaged before it reaches you, or is not as described, please contact me as soon as possible.

Please include photographs where appropriate, particularly if the item has arrived damaged.

I will assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable UK consumer protection law.

Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.

You do not lose your statutory rights by contacting me after the 14-day cancellation period.

Items damaged during delivery

I take care to package each item securely before dispatch.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact me as soon as possible and provide photographs of:

• the damaged item;

• the outer packaging;

• any visible damage to the packaging.

This information may be needed when dealing with the delivery service.

I will review the situation and work with you to resolve it in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.

Custom and personalised items

Some custom-made or personalised products may be excluded from the standard 14-day cancellation right where an applicable legal exception applies.

Before accepting a custom order, I will confirm the relevant details with you.

Your statutory rights remain unaffected if a custom or personalised item is faulty, not as described or otherwise does not comply with the contract.

Natural characteristics of handmade wood

Wood is a natural material. Variations in grain, colour, knots, texture, small marks and other natural characteristics are part of the individual character of handmade wooden products.

These natural characteristics are not normally considered faults.

Product descriptions and photographs are provided to give you a clear representation of each item, but slight differences in colour or appearance may occur between photographs and the physical product.

Exchanges

I do not offer a general exchange service.

If you would like a different item, you can return an eligible item in accordance with this Returns & Refunds Policy and place a new order.

This does not affect your statutory rights if an item is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described.
