Hi, I’m the person behind Wooden Rustic Craft.

I’m a one-man woodworker based in Northampton, England, making rustic and country-inspired pieces in my own workshop.

I work with wood because I like the fact that no two pieces are ever quite the same. The grain, knots, colour and natural marks give every piece its own character — and I’d rather work with those details than hide them.

How I work

I do everything myself.

I choose and prepare the timber, cut and shape it, sand and finish each piece, then carefully pack it ready for its new home.

There’s no factory or production line behind Wooden Rustic Craft. Just me, my tools, plenty of wood and the time needed to make each piece properly.

I use traditional woodworking techniques alongside modern tools where they make sense. Every piece is made individually, with attention to the details that make it feel handmade.

Why wood?

I’ve always been drawn to things that show where they came from — natural materials, visible grain, aged timber and the small imperfections left behind by the making process.

That’s what I try to bring into my work.

Some pieces are simple and understated. Others have unusual grain, reclaimed timber or details that make them stand out. Either way, I want each one to feel like something made by a person, not something taken from a production line.

What I make

I create practical and decorative pieces for everyday homes — from shelves and lamps to small furniture, wooden décor and one-off pieces.

My aim is simple:

Make something useful. Make it well. Make it worth keeping.
