Rustic Red Oak Keepsake Chest

A small rustic keepsake chest handcrafted from old Red Oak, with a contemporary English Oak lid and base.

The chest is stained and finished by hand with beeswax, while the lighter lid is finished only with beeswax, allowing its natural grain to show beautifully.

Natural cracks, saw marks, cleaning marks and visible black screws add to its authentic rustic character. Cast metal hinges and a matching clasp complete the old-fashioned trunk-style look.

Felt pads protect the surface underneath, and a small jute cloth is included.

Each chest has its own unique grain pattern and slightly different screw placement, making every piece one of a kind.
